Discus tank and Peat moss

Do any of you use or have heard of using peat moss in the filtration sysytem to keep the ph and water soft?

yes some people use it. though most will adapt fine to about any water unless you are trying to spawn them.

best to us ro water with nice high dollar discus esp if your trying to breed,but its really not needed and neither is the peat moss, all fish with acclimate to your water in time but the best success i hear with breeding is with ro
