Hello all !!!
I would like to ask if it is possible to keep discus in a 26 galon (100 lt) tank?
If it is, then how many?

Thank you

I would say probably not. Discus get to an 8-10" circle in size. That wouldn't leave much for swimming room. The general formula is 10 gallons per discus. Try http://discusasahobby.com
I have been researching there... I am hoping to upgrade my tank in the next year.

Just curious is that 26 american gallons of 26 UK gallons?
If I am not wrong then:
100 lt = 26.417205 US gallons = 21.996925 UK gallons

The dimensions of the tank are: 39*15,35*11.41 (inches)

The rule of thumb for discus is 15 gallons per fish.

Discus can vary in size from 6-11 " as adults..one of the reasons some discus get so big is the way they are fed..they are fed a lot when young (to get them round)

there are different thoughts as to whether this is a good thing.

but they do get relatively large if you consider a 6" plate.

Another issue to consider is..discus generally are social and do best in groups the smallest being 4-5.

you can keep a mated pair in a 29 bare bottom with daily water changes.

but if you want a discus display tank..you'll need a larger tank.
