The 6 VR(virgin reds) are now down to 5..lost one last weekend when it decided to jump out of the tank(thru a 2" slot near filter)

they have been in a growout since I picked them up in March and are now pleasantly plum and hitting 4"..time to move them into the display tank...

just in time for the Alenquer that are arriving this afternoon... ;)

The plan is to keep one VR in the growout (it's a bit of a runt compared to the others) giving it time to catch up. It will sit in the tank during the 4 week QT.

I also have 6 more blue rams arriving..hoping there is at least 1-2 males in the mix..I'm looking to get pairs...

sorry long weekend.
the VR's were all moved to the display..but hiding.. it's a low tech planted
the babies are tiny..smaller than I had anticipated and they are extremely shy.

I'll work on pic's today had my hands full with maint this weekend and a tight schedule.
