Disease or wound on Pleco?

Alrighty, this thing on my Pleco's nose has been there a while, and I have no idea what it is. I tried treating it with numerous products, but to no avail. It looks almost like a white indent on the very tip of its nose, like a circular piece of scales is missing... It almost looks like a wound, which worries me.

Any help is appreciated!

sounds like a wound,,,got his nose in the wrong place. I wouldn't worry about as long as the pleco appears to be acting the same as always has, it as it will heal. You may want to add a little aquarium salts to the tank.

sounds like the same thing my pleco has, it seems to be from rubbing against the glass, but there is nothing much i can do about that

I might be able to get a pic, but I can't put it up 'till monday at the least...

I've already tried Aquarium Salt and Melafix. (possibly a few others that I forget)
