DISSAPEARED!!!

I went away for two days, knowing my fish would be fine without any food for two days i didnt ask anyone to feed them. When i came back i did a head count and found that one of my guppies had dissapeared! i do not have any agressive fish so i know that none of my fish killed him, but what else could have happened?

Well, if it's not on the floor or in the filter, it must have died & been scavenged. I'd do a good water change & keep an eye out for problems. Had you added new fish lately?

i couldnt find it anywhere so i did a water change to see if i could find it but no luck, i havent added any new fish in about 7 months. if it died and the other fish ate it wouldnt there be bones left or something?

the same thing happened to me i went a way for a week and left a auto feeder to do the job . but it got cloged up and wen i got back one of my fish was missing a big one at that abuut two weeks later i found skull

make sure to check thuroughly in the plants to make sure. there is also a chance that the filter fitlered out any bones in the water.

Keep looking. I had a molly that was about an inch long disappear and I thought she was dead, but two weeks later, there she was, and she was about a half inch bigger! But I've also had a 7 inch twig catfish completely disappear. I took the tank and filter apart looking for him, searched the floor all around the tank, and never found a trace of him. Go figure.
