DIY CO2 injection question

I'm just wondering how often the bottle usually needs to be refilled. Should I expect this to be a daily thing, or more like weekly?

I'm going to use the jello recipe, so hopefully it will last longer.

How many bottles should I expect to need for a 29g low light tank?

Oh, and what about nighttime.... I am using a HOB with bio-wheel, so overdose while it's dark shouldn't become an issue, should it? Since DIY CO2 can't be turned off at night..

from my experience...

1. Refills up to every 2 weeks or so. I tend to use less yeast than most however. It will vary largely depending on how much yeast is added, and the activity of the yeast.

2. Beats me. Two?

3. Not much to be done with it. I run DIY on 3 tanks, and I have yet to have a problem with nighttime oversaturation. For my setups, the diffusion is just not efficient enough for it to actually matter.

there is a very very very small chance of ever putting too much co2 with diy into the tank. most of the time its 2 weeks give or take.
