DIY Co2 Systems

^^ lol what ever you do.. do not dump the mixture into the tank

You first need to get a 2L soda bottle. Make a tiny hole on top to put the airline tubing through.. If you can glue the top so the seal is tight.
Then follow the steps provided above on how to make the mix.

In the end the other end of the airline tubing goes in the tank.

Then after that Co2 will be going through the tubing and into th aquariam. Will I ever need to replace the mixture?

Yes, you need to replace the mixture about every 2 weeks.

Here's a page which describes in detail a DIY CO2 system for aquariums.

The other option is to use a compressed CO2 system. In the long run it may be cheaper than the DIY but there is a high up-front cost.

Dont forget Seachem Excel, it also works as a replacement to Pressurized CO2. But if do buy it in the 2liter bottles, it'll last you 6months+.

Ok! Thanks for the help everyone! I will try and get pics up once the tank is planted and I get my rams!
