Hello, anyone know where can I get a bottle cap with a air tube attached? I am hoping to put some yeast and sugar in a bottle and make co2 out in a diffuser I have. But I dont have a drill nor silicon to seal the air tube. please help!

Thanks

do you have a soldering gun? you can melt the hole.
Might take a few tries as the hole expands even after you remove the heat but can make a great seal.
Heat cut a hole then insert the air tube to height and let set perfect seal.
There is a touch needed to set the air tube at the right time and not burning the air tube and not setting the seal.

lol this does work for sure but kinda have to do a few times to get the timing right. I was wondering if someone sells ebay? That's where I got my diffusor from

Is this a good one?

Probably weird, but I always created the holes by using a corkscrew to drill the hole, and then a small knife to carve it into a larger hole.

The eBay sellers from Asia used to sell a bottle cap with an valve already on it. Just one piece, no holes or anything. Not sure if I've seen it recently though.

you could certainly combine these methods and use the end of a wire hanger heated on the stove to make your initial hole... and then shape it with a sharp, strong knife.

unfortunately i agree about the diffuser.

You can drive a nail into the cap also, and then pull the tube through with a pair of pliers. I've only had luck with putting the tube up into the intake of a filter. I couldn't build enough pressure to even put the tube more than halfway down a 16" tall tank with 4 bottles sitting directly next to the tank.

Really? I saw people on youtube doing the same thing with this diffuser or ladder diffuser and worked. hmm wired im going to give it a try anyway, thanks for the advice!:flamed:

The nano's work just fine for DIY setups. I use them on all my rigs.
