do bubbles going upa filters input bad?

cus my bubbler is sitting under one my filters rite now...and im to lazy to move it :help:

yes, they will get sucked into the intake
the only way is to move it

:duh: :duh: :duh: it lowers your filters gph which isnt good cause you want as much filtration as possible not to mention its probably quite noisy with all the air going through the impellor

exactly co-sign...im gunna change it 2morro only a corner of the bubbler is barely hittin the intake... but i can hear a lil noise not that bad

When I was running bubbles had the air stone right under the intake-caused the impeller to cavitate.

Since then found out that airstones not needed. I'm running Penquin 350's on my 29 gallon tanks-you can almost surf on the water surface.

Fishies love it; they play in the current!
