DO glass Diffusers work on DIY systems?

The sealant or glue should be removable. I can just peal it off. If nothing else, you could cut the tubing right before it meets the airstone and use a knife to cut the tubing off.

Cut the line close to the stone, then cut a vertical cut in the hose still on the stone and take off. The stones don't make the mist of bubbles though so diffusion is not the best. As far as getting the good seal, just cut a smaller than needed hole in the lid of your DIY bottle, cut the end of the line at an angle and pull through with pliers. The hose will seal itself. I did this when I was DIY and it never leaked. I ended up going pressurized, as it is much more reliable in colder temps, didn't run out after a week, etc.

If you're gonna go through all that trouble of sealing, get the glass a nano glass diffuser (like $10) and just seal around the tubes in your bottle lids. Will make it much easier. Less maintenance than an airstone and finer bubbles.

Yes. I've posted in your other threads that I have used one for almost 2 yrs now with DIY CO2 and get excellent results. They're very easy to clean.

Yep...I'll post some pics when I get back.
