Do Goldfish Eat Rose Petals?

Has anyone ever fed rose petals (from florist roses) to goldfish? Just wondering, because mine are always hungry for greens and I have access to lots of rose petals.

Rose petals from a florist sound like a bad idea to me due to the likelihood of pesticides.

If you can find out if they contain chemicals or pesticides, and it turns out they don't, it might be worthwhile...rose hips contain loads of Vitamin C, I imagine that rose petals do as well. I kind of doubt they would find them palatable, though.
