Do I need a sea anenome for two percula clowns?

A few years ago I had a dark maroon clown fish that hosted in a condylactis. They kept this relationship for over two years until I tore down the tank. Condy's are easier to keep, and cheap.

Sorry about the spelling.

veryfew anemonies will host in a condy. It is not natural for any species but very very rarely you will find some freak that does it. (not saying yoru fish are freaks. lol)
BTAs are most often suggested for a clown host because most clowns will host them, but you have to pair up the clown and anem based on species.

i have a pair of ocillaris clowns which have hosted an open brain, anthillia, a flower pot, macro algae, and currently reside in a bunch of xenia. They have never stepped into my BTA or even my 25 headed frogspawn.
they will literaly host whatever they want. i have seen corners, rocks, even algae clips and powerheads. you dont need an anem.

and to awnser a previous question about if anyone has seen any fake anems that didnt look cheesey: IMHO, i dont think they make any :P

I had some anemones before and neither of my two saddle back clowns hosted them instead they seemed to attach themselves to the Xenia in my tank and have done so now for about 2 years. I have also heard of clowns hosting in Finger leather coral and many other soft corals as well.
