some of mine have names. Like Squishy the clown loach, but the other loaches aren't named. I can only tell him appart because his stomach and head are squished from mis-adventures.
I also have a h. rasbora named Spare (he was an accidental catch in a fish buying trip) and later I got him some friends and just named them 1-8 lol
My siamese fighter - Chop
4 zebra danios - eeny, meenie, miny and mo
5 Rosy tetras - scoop, muck, dizzy, lofty and rolly (kids cartoon in uk)
2 paradise fish - adam and eve
pleco - nigel
sucking loach - dave
bronze cory - pilchard ( first one was called kipper from another kids toon but he died so this one had to have a similar name!)
2 of my danios have had to be renamed recently as they each had an eye sucked off! they are now one eyed willy and nelson!
need names for moonlight gourami and gold gourami - any suggestions welcome!
I dont, but one of them I refer to as prego caus eme and my friend were joking around that shes so fat all the time, and thats just the way it is, not bloat or pregnancy or dropsy or anything
My betta name is Cheese...his nicknames are Officer Cheesearelo, fromage, and Cheesey fish. Sad but true, each one of my friends calls him one of the names
Out of my current fish we have some named (my son and I)...
Chase (long finned zebra danio), because she(we think) chases all the other danios and is the biggest danio.
Scar (long finned zebra danio), because I sucked the poor guy up into my gravel vac and now he's got a scar on his side =/
George (red wag platy) the larger of my male platies.
Elizabeth (red wag platy) she is George's girlfriend.
Small Fry (red wag platy) she turned out to be a he upon further education.
Samual *Sam* (blue mystery snail) my son named that one hehe.
and lastly, Goliath (red wag platy) he that turned out to be a she, unfortunately she passed away the other day.
I also have 3 ottos that we haven't named because they are too similar to distinguish and 4 other long finned zebra danios that look too much alike to name.
