I was just sitting here when it flashed my mind. There used to be a snail circulating around the hobby that simply went by the name of Mini-mystery snail. I'm not sure what the scientific name was, but if I remember correctly, it basically looked like a very small Apple snail, it's shell had the mottled semi-transparent patterning of a Bladder snail, and it only grew to around 5mm.

It was *sort of* popular around 3 years ago, but it just seems to have quietly disappeared from the hobby. Does anyone know if it's still around, or have information on the scientific name, etc?

Holly! I love that site. What an interesting person, she sounds very sweet. Do you know her?
I happened to find that site while doing a "google" on the giant ramshorn. I remembered buying a snail many years ago called a giant ramshorn, and wondered if what I had years ago was a canna. Anyway that's how I found that site. I like the pics. :)

Msjinkzd has some for sell - she too called them mini snails

I don't see it in her sales thread, are you confusing these with her Nerites?

why not pm msjdz and ask???
