.... where to get Eheim spare parts?

I'm specificaly looking for an Eheim 2229's locking pins on it's wet/dry control mechanism.

To those with user manuals,... it is part # 73 4515 0

I already tried Bigal's & Petplace and they don't have em.

Yea that's ME.......... :hi:
I usually carry the “Cooter” Name with me......... I guess your FZ1 name would not make much sense on an Aquarium Board. :D

I was a member of the Aquaria Central board over a year ago but something happened to member name twice so I took a hiatus. My wife gave me a new 75 for Christmas so I’m back……….. Maybe I will see you in Atlanta in a few weeks. We can compare notes! Have you ever tried to put a jet kit on you Aquarium????

Not to interrupt, but what do you think of the Yamaha V Max 1200cc ? :)

But, on topic, I didn't think Eheim would need spare parts..

It is one mean bike with one mean reputation! With that said I think the V-Max styling is a tad bit out dated. BUT in the same breath, Ducati and several other manufactures are coming out with “Retro” type motorcycles. The V-Max is a “Retro” that never left the market. I think my bike (FZ1) is a sport bike for normal people. I think the V-Max is a “sporty” bike for “Cruiser” people. Please keep in mind that I have never ridden one or even sat on one. If you want to embarrass all your Harley friends at a stoplight, I say get one! I know the 97 -98 V-Max would put almost 120 horse power to the rear wheel! That’s more than a normal man needs

Have you looked at the Yamaha Warrior? Same type styling as the V-Max on an updated platform.

Almost ready to "sign the bottom line" on the 2004 V Max!
"Sporty" bike for "Cruiser" people describes it pretty good!
Some have reports of 140HP at the rear wheel -- oh well, what's a couple HP here or there.. LOL
I didn't like the Warrior. And, the R-1 was too much of a 'lay-down' bike..
BTW - the dealers are not coming off the retail price much at all!

When I bought my FZ1 I paid retail. I went to a couple of different places and they don't deal with you like car dealerships. When I buy a car I usually walk out a couple of times and they call me at home begging me to come back, but with my local motorcycle dealership I got the sense they didn’t care if I ever came back. I bought my FZ1 in 2001 and there were only a couple at each dealership or they were sold out! I didn’t have much leverage! It all came down to this……did I really want the bike! I have not regretted it for a minute! One of the best purchases I have ever made!

Have you looked at the FZ1? It is like an “old mans” R1!
