Does anyone know if a 65 gallon tank stand needs to a solid support under the center?

I had a steel stand built for a 65 gallon tank I just bought, but I just realized that there is a plastic center brace running width-wise underneath the bottom glass, does this center support need to have a structural support underneath it or can it just float as long as all the sides of the tank are supported?

once the stand is level yes it can just float as you put it.
the bottom glass of aquariums do not touch the stand that its placed on.
they sit on the rim of the aquarium.

Make sure the entire perimeter of the tank base is supported equally. Any imbalance there can lead to catastrophe.
