Hello Everyone,

I have been doing my homework and I was wondering why you can't dose ferts without using CO2?

as mentioned.

yes, you can.. tho the plants may not need as much.(depending on lights and CO2)

I believe that the reason why most people dont dose without co2 is because plants with ferts and CO2 will usually out-compete algae, which also uses ferts.

the more light you give your plants, the more co2 they need.
so many high light setups use additional co2. these plants seem to grow much faster tna plants without the high light and co2... I gues its like putting your plants on steroids or something.

You can use ferts without any co2.
