Down to my last oto

Cripes my beta is chasing my oto what now? Oto doesn't seem to mind too much he just moves away. Oh please not my last oto too!

He's been moved! I even took his zuccini out and his favorite rock. Hope he survives yet another change :( Poor little sucker.
 
Ok little oto fish lasted through the night. He seems to be getting along with his new buddies (even chases them a bit) He's the 1st oto I've owned with spunk. I really hope he makes it!
 
Hi. I'm sorry about your oto. You were kind to send me a note when I was losing my otos. All of mine have perished despite my best efforts. Now, the tank seems to be establishing more of the algae they would like! Hope your oto makes it and you can add more for company.

Are you saying your water is poor before, or after, the wc? Sorry, I don't understand your response.
 
What I mean is that the only time I have problems (which I think I've solved for the most part) is when I do my 50% weekly water change. My loaches can't seem to stay on the gravel they float up and my harlequins gasp when I turn the filter back on. Now I leave one of the 2 filters on and it seems to help. I also dose my Prime better. Other than that my water's always been fine.
