Dream next Tank!!

I'm saving at the moment, (which will be made easier once i get a job). for a new tank, i just need to know what equipment and tank size so i know roughly how much i need to save up. I'm going to start buying equipment, substrates etc soon, i'll need to know what is best.

Wanted fish
Discus 6 + thinking of all torquose
rummynose tetra 20 ish
Corys 10+ (allready have 7)

what size tank? i was thinking 5x2x2ft (120 ukg) or 6x2x2ft (150ukg)
filter? lighting? will be planted with moss and swords and some large grasses.
Bogwood make discus feel at home.

anybody got similar setups.

umm i duno about those tetras 20 of them ?? why why why your just gona have 6 verry fat discus seriously my brother has 2 and i gave him my tetras cause i wanted my tank all live bears there were 5 now there are none and his discus are a good bit happyer

didn't know discus ate tetras like that. all discus tanks i've every seen all had neons rummynoses etc.

if i introduce the discus small they'll grow up with the tetras and might leave them???
i've had expericence doing that with angels and it's worked, just can't introduce any new small fish?

one of the discus tanks amano put to gether/designed has 9 discus and about 50 rummy nose. I don't know if its just the extra space or the bigger school.

I'm thinking that with the larger school and growing them up together there wouldn't be a problem with them getting eaten.

the other thing not mentioned here or in the fish eaten story is the size of the tank. the new fish might not have had the room to get away from the discus as well as being the new kids in school.
