I have a platy with dropsy. She's bloated, pineconing and the whole shebang. I've tested for everything in the tank she came from and cant come up with anything but liver failure since the water is perfect. PH7.0 no amm/trites and 15trates. She's in hospital tank now and mostly just rests on the bottom though I do catch her swimming around a bit. She's been like this for 3 days now and nothing I have tried has helped her out. She's also not eating. I've tried epsom salts, anti bacterial and anti parasite and nothing seems to help. No other fish seemed effected at all. Anything you can think of I should be doing?

I don't think there is much chance your platy can survive considering dropsy is internal and at this rate, difficult to treat. Sorry to hear that.
put it out of its misery while you have the chance. i didn't learn about dropsy until my female platy had a hole in her stomach and was floating about with her guts hanging out.
Put her down tonight. Felt bad about it too since she seemed to be such a trooper. Nothing I was doing was helping though. Thanks for the advise.
