Hi,
I just thought it would be nice if we share our experiences with our fish. The cute little things they do that make us fall in love with them more and more each day.
My blue dwarf gourami started doing a trick for me today at feeding time. He has never done this before. When he sees my fingers with food on top of the open tank he starts spiting water. I really enjoyd that interaction with him. My tinfoil barb on the other hand is very greedy and even if he's full he'll steal the food from everyone else. Sometimes when I feed them bloodworms if anyone has a piece sticking out of their mouth he'll just rip it out of their mouth and swims for cover.
I also enjoyed watching my Jellybean parrot cichlids (When I got them I didn't know what they go through to become colorful. I do not support the practice) being very overprotective parents they're really a pleasure to watch.
It would be really great if you could post some of your experiences.
Thanks for reading my post :)

That's cool about your dwarf gourami. I'm trying to teach some of my fish to eat from my fingers. But they don't seem to want to. My shrimp like to go upside down and eat flakes from the top. That's really funny to watch.

my albino shark is a pig and wenever hes at the top and i put food in my hand(he has to se me do this) as soon as my hand hits the water like im getting my change from some one he'll jump up and try and get in my hand! he's a total nut!

My dwarfs started spitting at me after about a month..Soon after a couple starting jumping up at me 4-6 inches. In the wild they use these tactics to catch mosquitos i read.

Thank you all for your responses I never actually thought fish could be like this and I'm embarassed to admit that I didn't what fish to begin with it's my husband who bought the tank and the fish and now I don't let him go anywhere near it. :)
