Dwarf Gourami with Fancy guppies

I have 7 Fancy guppies, and one dwarf gourami. I noticed that the gourami was showing some agression towards the guppies. I also found one of my original 9 guppies dead without a tail. I did not notice any signs of stress the night before the said guppy died. What should I do to keep any more guppies from dieing?

My water parameters are:
Ammonia-0
Nitrite-0
nitrate-20 ppm

Move the gourami into his own tank.

It might be possible your gourami is seeing the guppies as a threat to its territory. Normally I hear of bettas picking on dwarf gourami and fish with long fins, but I wonder if a dwarf gourami might have a similar inclination.
