Dwarf Gouramis in small tanks...

If bettas and gouramis are both anabantoids, could dwarf gouramis live in a small tank comfortably, too? Something like 5-7 gallons by himself?

Yes, a 5 gallon would be large enough for a single dwarf gourami.

Yeah, that would be fine for one dwarf. I had 1 dwarf gourami in a 3.5 gallon vase at one time. (wouldn't do it again though, too much work)

i think it would be ok in a small tank (just 1) but make sure you still have a heater and a filter. they like good water conditions and are tropical so will need the heat... but as long as you have that covered... sound alright
