dwarf gouramis with corys and platys?

You might be able to keep 2 females together, but 2 males will harrass or even kill each other, and a male will usually harrass one lone female until she dies. Male gouramis are a bit like bettas in their behaviors.

I would also be worried about the platys with male gouramis, they don't really like other colorful or active fish.

If you want something colorful and around the same size I'd go with some kind of dwarf or ram cichlid, they're more peaceful.

I would either get the corys or the platys, not both, you'll end up overstocked.

I presently have 1 dwarf gouramin and 4 cory's and they get along great. But i have heard that you probably shouldnt have more than one gourami.
