I read this in someone's post recently and was a bit confused.
What the person (I don't remember who) said was that to get a denser carpet of dwarf hairgrass one should plant the small "plantlets" of dwarf hairgrass (i.e. 4-5 blades connected to a root) more spread out rather than very densely.
Does this make sense? Maybe by doing this the growth of each individual planlet doesn't interfere with the growth of the others?
Curious b/c I'm doing some replanting of my DHG and I have a bunch of it left over but am unsure whether to plant it or not.
thanks
