Hey guys,

I've got another question about my Pike, I got him from my lfs from my guy Tim who has never steered me wrong. I was told that first off she would be fine in my 23 gallon nano cube and that she would do great with rams corys and other dwarf cichlids.

I am curious to know how much of this is true? She is in my tank with 2 corys and one ram (the other ram didnt survive the transition to the new tank so I will be adding another tommorow).

I know you should never buy a fish you dont know much about but for what ever reason this fish really grabbed my attention and when I was looking in her tank she swam right up to the front as if to say "take me take me". So I explained my tank to Tim and he said I would be totally fine as he has a male and female himself in his 25 gallon.

So I want to know if you think my setup and tank mates are sufficient as they are and wanted to get some input on what other fish I can add as the corys and pike just hang towards the bottom and the top is bare.

On a side note, if anyone could identify that plant right dead center for me id be eternally grateful! It has this stem in the middle that has grown 10 inches in the week I've had it.

Thanks,
Bob

Not sure of the Cichlid, but the plant is Aponogeton Ulvaceous. Or at least it looks like it with a small picture.

Your tank is a little on the small side for the pike. They can reach 6 inches. I dont think tankmates should be too much of a problem but do not introduce another pike.

ok thanks for the input guys, I have kept a close eye on her and her colors are just getting better and better the longer she is in the tank. She is doing great

Too small for barbs and the pike...I would be careful.
