Any ideas? It would be in a 10 or 15 Gallon well planted tank. Im guessing as the Kuhli Loach is a peaceful enough bottom dweller, much like the oto, then it shouldnt be a problem. Im aware that its never as simple as that though.

Any info or random guesses would be appreciated.

my sister had a DP and a kuhilli in a 5 gal plus kuhilli hide most of thee time so yea i think you can

firethief, the only fish I've heard go well with dp's are bottom feeders. Many people do well with otos and quite a few with long loaches (dojo, khuli), mostly because the bottom feeders stay out of their way. I think that would be a good combination, but always be ready to separate them in case the little boogers (my dp's look like boogers :) ) start getting nippy.

Dp's are such individuals that it's virtually impossible to predict how each one will act. So my solution, have another tank (community, whatever) ready to take the khulis, or else buy from a place that will let you return them if it doesn't work out :)

Good luck and hope you join the dwarf puffer 'fold'!

Excellent! Sounds like its worth a shot. I have a community tank that would come in handy in an emergency.

Now I just need to find a place that stocks dwarf puffers in Scotland.

I think Kuhlis should be fine with Dwarf Puffers because they do like to hide. I owned a DP a long time ago and all it seem to want to eat was my Cory Cats. Just watch for that.
