I may be alone in thinking this, but by christ there needs to be better feedback written for e-bay. I spend ages trying to think of more unusal comments to leave for feedback, but no one responds like wise. It's all 'excellent A+++++++' guff, someone left me that in response to my 'Better than chasing squirrels with sticks' comment! I love + feedback (100%) but some humour would be nice. Rant over

3 feedbacks from one seller:

YOU ARE THE CHERRY ON THE CAKE OF MY DAY!

YOU MAKE EBAY WHAT IT IS TODAY.. FUN & FANTASTIC

THANKS JUST ISN'T ENOUGH.. MAYBE MY FIRSTBORN ? :)

Like the last one....

Excellent AC'er.... A+A+A+A+A+A+A+ highly recommended...

;)

I just learned today about the use of bots to increase ebay seller ratings. They can quickly flood a person with very positive results but would (my guess) be not very creative in their responses.

Good Luck! If you are a buyer

Getting any type of help, if you have a problem with a seller. Ebay and Paypal are usually no help what so ever.

The original poster is right. There should be a lot more space for comments. At least you might be able to embarrass a seller into doing the right thing.

I have had one bad experience on Ebay where the seller shipped the product so poorly that the box was broken open on three sides when I got it. Amazingly, only one piece of the item was missing, but the seller never sent me the piece.

Well whatever happens with e-bay, i'm taking it upon myself to redeem the comments page. Prepare yourself e-bay.co.uk for some very bizzare comments indeed!

who hasnt been screwed over by someone on ebay?? its annoying how it is all in favor of the seller, yet if the buyer gets ripped off, you usually dont have a leg to stand on....

and yes there should be more humor, some people take it WAY too seriously :D

Jeez, you should go into some of the forums and chatrooms. That's where I had my first experiences with these formats (ya, I waited a long time--now I"m hooked on fish). Talk about DRY and B****Y. And if they werent' griping, they were sharing recipes for apple cider or fruit cake!!! And not terribly friendly to newcomers. I shut that down fast. Been lucky so far with sellers, except for the ones who inflate shipping charges; as a seller as well, I ask them about it, and they just ignore me or give me some boohaw excuse. But buyers! The rookies are the worst, expecting something back the next day, and as knotty said, booooooring feedback. LOL sometimes they buy several things from same seller, and post same comments like 8 times in a row. Great Seller, A++++++++. Timely delivery, excellent. Puleeze.
Rant over. :p:
