I have read numerous boards and have thoroughly confused myself - Help please.
From my understanding most people don't like the hang of the back skimmers?
I read both positive and negative about the aqua C. One big problem with the hang on the back skimmers is the possiblity of starting a syphon when the power is off and dumbing your water onto the floor - is that true? I have read so much about different skimmers I beleive it must be one of the most debated subjects in the hobby - I am beyond confused.
Is their an easy sump set up for a newbie with a 46 bow. Like a big rubbermaid container? Does it have to be divided into two sections?
Does anyone know of an easy (basic)Sump setup that would do the job, but easy enough for a newbie to set-up?
Is a sump the wrong direction for a newbie and should I continue down the path of a HOT skimmer.
Sorry for so many questions and thanks for the help.
Thanks, Jay
