i didnt know where to put this but i stuck it here. anyway we are trying to move into this really big house and it has this seat type thing close to a window so i want to put plants on it. i already have two plants i could put on it a dracnea and a pothos. im looking for plants that are as easy as these two.
thanks

I like succulents and cactus because they don't require frequent watering. I also have a couple of spider plants that have hung in there for several years on the same sporadic care, the green one has a pretty decent crop of little ones hanging from it now. Back when I had an apartment with a good bathroom window I grew orchids there, had to give them away when I bought this house though, just don't have the right window for them.

What "conditions" do you have, as in how much sun will the plants get?
i have no idea yet about the sun, i do know that they could be in direct, and partial sun though. i can water daily (i use my fishy water)

eh im not that into cactus's, but the spider plants seem cool. how hard is the orchid to grow?

The orchids I grew were easy enough, main things are the right amount of sunlight and humidity. I only have a couple cactus, most of them are different types of Haworthia and euphorbia. I also have an odd Rhipsalis growing on a chunk of wood (rooted in sphagnum moss) hanging in a kitchen window. I'm waiting to see if it will bloom, should be interesting if it does.

Try a single bannanna leaf plant/tree thing. I have about 50 now, I planted 1 1.5ft tall one in my front garden, now I have 50 or so every year that pop up. I pulled one inside the house, all they need is light and steady water (it's already gotten so big I'm surprised the pot can hold it). Course, I have it under a T8 fish tank light I'm not using any more :)

If not that, then there are plenty of low-moderat-high light ferns to try. Google is ur friend :)

Go to EBAY and look up ZZ Plant . It costs a few buckeroos but it's the easiest indoor low light plant in the world. Requires very little light and very little water. I have 8 planters of them in my condo.

look up sansevieria AKA mother in laws tongue

just make sure to get a sp. that grows to about the height you need to fill in your space.

some philodendrons are extremely easy as well.
