6" maybe from what i can gather he is "Sorubim lima"i have try krill , gut loaded feeders, brime, and a sea food i bought at the gs what do you feed yours?he is in a 55 gal hex

Pollock, Greetings from Provo, UT we are practically neighbors.

I have a shovel nose and I fee him beef heart. If you have never used beef heart and would like some suggestions on how to use it let me know. My SN loves it and even comes out of hiding to get it when it is feeding time.

I also have a FW Eel in my take but he is only aoubt 14 inches long. What kind of eel is it and how long have you had it?

hello

i have never used beef haert but i here it is good stuff my SN never hides he just sits there with his head down . i got him to eat mysis but i dont like the way clouds my tank. my FW eel lives in a brak tank with

and my eel i just mesuered him last night i about 32" he eats really good

just set up a new 55 gal i am going to put the clown and shovelnose in .
