I really like my Eclipse 2 system except for the inadequate lighting. I am considering retrofitting it with the Current USA retrofit kit. However, it seems that the lighting upgrade would only increase wattage by 2 watts from 30 to 32 over a my twenty gallon tank. Is there a difference in CFL watts vs. T-8 watts that would make this retrofit worthwhile? Anyone have any experience with this retrofit kit? Thanks

how long is the tank? maybe you could retrofit a ahsupply kit in there. maybe a incandescent hood with 2 screw in power compact bulbs.
Depending on the length of your tank, you can oder retrofits to give you 36 or 55watts from AH Supply.
