eco complete

has anyone tried it yet. i prefer live plants in my tank, and liked the idea of soil substrate. but would like to know other peoples experiences of it first

i am a complete noob with planted tanks and i added it when i first started cycling..and it settled like a dream.
i yet have to plant.

I have eels that love to burrow in it. And it is not hard to vacuum at all, you just can't stick the end down into the eco-complete. You skim along the surface instead. It really does help with plant growth too.
