i believe that my penguin tetra is carrying eggs, and quite a hefty amount by its appearance. i first recieved this tetra with 3 black neon tetras. i was at my lfs returning a silver dollar that perished, the guy must hav felt bad for me and gave me all of the above for free, relaly all i wanted were the 3 black neons, but the penguin was all alone, and previously had a penguin and two black neons ina 10g community and that worked out quite well until the penguin jumped upon moving it to my 36g community. now they are about 3 weeks in the tank and are settled in well, the penguin is schooling with the black neons acting as somewhat of a big brother. when i first bought it it was quite ill looking and a bit discolored, but asw of now it has regained full color and attained quite ofa bulge about 1/2 inch maybe? from its eye under its stomach. is she bearing eggs, and if she is would i be able to buy a male and court her into mating, please fill me in

Isn't this the same post as this one? Most folks here read more than one forum, posting twice only serves to annoy folks.

What are your water parameters? I'd be very surprised if you could get those tetras to spawn by accident. Also, it is hard for anyone to ascertain if a fish is loaded with eggs without a picture.

sorry about hat oone harlock, i just figured the post was old and dead, im not the quickest person, so i have no idea what you mean by parameters and i will tyr to get you a picture asap maybe in the next fifteen i have to go feed them now any way
