Eheim 2128 good choice?

My Eheims cannot be heard. I don't know if they're running unless I place my hand on them. I don't hear many other filter owners making that claim.

Eheims are known for their quality and many fishkeepers have Eheims that still run silently after 20 or 30 years.

Owners of other canisters can tell us if their filters still work as well in... say 20 or 25 years.

The specs say they're good to 158 gallons which is a good deal more than your tank size, but IMO they are more like guidlines rather than absolutes. Bioload, how heavily planted, if at all, and other factors can be as important as product guidelines.
