Eheim Quick Vac Pro... Anyone have one?

It is the best of all of the battery powered gravel vacs to have. And gonorrhea is the best of all venereal diseases to have. I would think you'd be better off with neither!
 
Zig, I know it says it catches the debri in the filter thing there but I would think that at least some mulm would come out making the water cloudy.In my young fishkeepping days before coming to AC, I used a vac too that captured the debris in a bag.... which made more mess than it was worth.
 
save your sink, some time and some money, zig. use a hose spigot or a basin tub faucet...

idk, doesn't seem like it...........most reviews say its suction is way too slow

and if u wanna give it a go, i'd try buying it from aquatic magic as its only like $20 there VS. amazon for like $40 i think?

i don't think that thing will actually suck up the small particles.....i just use airline tubing, a turkey baster, and a thin steel rod

put the still rod(at least 10" long) into end of airline tubing, hold the thing and point wherever u want to clean up, then start the siphon by using turkey baster at the other end, i'd do it with a WC as it takes out water while u take out all the "crap".;)
