Thinking of trading in 2 Firemouths. Would a pair of Kribs. and a pair of Elect. yellows get along and work in a 29 gal.? I'm wanting to replace the FM's with something bright, colorful and active.

No, not really.

They come from rather different habitats. Kribs like water that is neutralish, not too hard, some vegetation - fairly standard aquarium conditions. Electric yellows are Mbuna - they prefer hard, alkaline conditions and lots of rocks.

yellow labs

i was wondering if you could help i currently have 3 yellow lab cichlids in 157 liter approx 42 U.S gallons aquarium will this sized tank be suitable for this type of fish, there is 2 females to 1 male and im hoping to add 1 or 2 more females will this be okay and will they get on or do i need a bigger tank.

Should be OK. Don't put any more aggressive Mbuna in there though. Iodotropheus makes a good companion.
