What is the difference between these two? I have heard the Electric Blue Johanni are also called Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos formerly Melanochromis maingano. Then the Johanni, Melanochromis johanni.

Electric Blue Johanni v. Johanni

there are three sets of fish here, not just two, with hybreds to boot. that's what make sit tougg to say what names goes with what. However here is how to distinguish among the three:
1- Johhani, elecric blue or regular have tangarene females and babies. The third one has blue babies and female.
2- Electric blue Johanni looks just like Johannis, except the blue color is lighter. the male when gwetting excited becomes blue rather black for regular johanni.
3- the ones with blue female and babies also have vertical darker blue bars.
Now I am not sure what they are called and whether Maingano is their name or the electric blue's name.
You can however distinguish the three as you see them.
