okay from what ive found out they have been indeed mating but im wondering what size tank should i get to place them in as i dont think the fry will survive long in the tank the fish are in atm
when the female starts showing (bulge in her throat) remove her without stressing her out. This must be done quickly as possible because she may spit her fry out. Put her in a seperate tank no less than 10g. Wen setting up the fry tank remove water from the tank she came from and place it in the 10g along with a heater and a sponge filter.
