Emerald eye rasbora school size?

Hi there,

I started out with 8 emerald eye rasboras, but I am now down to 6. They clearly like to school together, and I am wondering if 6 is enough. And if I got a couple more would they others accept them?

6 should be fine in a 10 gallon tank. You could always add a couple more if you wish. Are there other fish in there?

There are some pygmaeus cories and otos--the tank is set up mainly for them with the wood and sandy bottom. I was mainly wondering if 6 was enough for them to feel secure in a school.

they're fine with 6. That's considered the safe minimum for a schooling fish. Of course a couple more would be better
