I got a free 8 foot cabinet-style canopy with 4 - 4' double strip lights with ballasts already in it. I think this was over a 250 gallon that they got rid of. They didn't know how to take apart and re-use the striplights, so they told me I could just keep it. I have since gutted the thing and reinforced it with extra-sturdy braces, added shelves to one side and a bottom floor in it. I also added decorative trim, antique door handles, and a nice outdoor paintjob. It would now probably hold several thousand pounds (no joke) and it looks great in our dining room. I'm going to set my 55 gallon centered on this surrounded by houseplants and build a canopy to suspend from the ceiling above it. It will be an open top tank, heavily planted with all the fixin's. I'm soooo excited
