Emperor Angel Coloration

Hello,

I was hoping that someone out there could let me know if, from their experience of keeping an emperor, they will change from juevenile colors into adult coloration while in captivity.

In addition, what types of foods would be best in promoting the coloration change.

Yes they will transform in captivity but sometimes their color change is not complete and not as captivating of colors like the wild caught ones. They generally transform at about 3-4 inches. Best foods to feed are frozen meaty foods- my favorites to feed my fish are the frozen foods by Ocean Nutrition such as Formula One, Form 2, Pygmy Angel, and most definitely Angel Formula.
