errr I think my snail is mating with the glass...I guess this is his willy?

Don't worry. There are times that they let 'it' hang out. Here's an image from http://www.applesnail.net/content/anatomy/reproduction.php that shows a snail with his penis out of his shell. While not common, it does happen, and is nothing to worry about.
