I found some Eucalyptus driftwood that I really like, but I read the leaves can be toxic to fish in aquariums since there isn't a high flow to flush the chemicals away. I read this on a Rainbowfish forum:
"Australia has a very harsh environment and most native trees have adopted certain peculiarities to adapt. One of those is the development of toxins in their leaves, bark and trunk to ward off insects and other predators etc."
Has anyone ever used Eucalyptus driftwood or heard anything to support this?
