I have julidochromis transcriptus offspring and a multi colony in my 55 and they take up the WHOLE tank. And occies have a reputation for being pretty territorial compared to other shell dwellers. Which is why I wouldn't recommend tankmates unless the tank is over 20-25 gallons.
