Extremely Low Light Plants

Hello All,
What are the most adaptable low light plants you can think of? I have greatly simplified my tank and am trying to find something that might survive in a 29 gal tall with only 20w. Thanks.

With only 20W in a tall, I am not even sure those plants would do well. They may survive, but not do well.

Yes, it's a long shot. Other option is to try a stronger bulb, maybe 30w, in my 55w Brite Kit.

That is unusual. Do your plants get some natural light and/or ambient light as well? How tall is your 25?

In regards to the OP's 29g, I lave 48watts of T5HO over mine and it does OK with java fern, moss and anubia. It's a twin tube strip light intended for 30" tanks. I am about due for another lamp change on it..

It's 14 to 15". They don't get any other light. It's a 6500K led strip, not exactly 10w but 11,3 or 11,5 or something.
But watt doesn't say much it's about Lumen that's why I asked what type of lighting it was.

^ True. Lumens are sort of what wattage was for fluorescents. For rough numbers anyway..

Plus that's a nice (shallow) height for plants to get light.

I've kept both Java moss & fern in almost no light, just high window or room lighting. Anubius almost that low. Really, I've had moss come back to life from almost drying out for months. No, it won't grow "well" & none are fast...but that makes for very low maintenance, lol.
