Without a picture its hard to say, but usually with popeye or similar maladies there isn't much you can do except let it heal on its own. Usually problems with the fish's skin stem from less than adequate water quality. You don't say anything about your maintenance practices, but don't be afraid to keep up with your regular weekly water changes just because there are fry in the tank. In fact, with the extra fish load you will need to change water more often for good fish health.

Pop eye is casued by poor water paramters (esp. high nitrates) and cured by remedying this - test for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate with a good liquid drop test kit. Water change as necessary.

If one eye only it may not be pop-eye but an injury of some kind which should resolve (sounds pretty minor) or a baterial infection.

Get/keep the water pristine and dose with some melafix. Monitor carefully. If it is not clearing after a week you need to consider stronger bacterial medications such as maracyn.
