Greetings and Happy new Year!
One of my yo-yo loaches, it appears, is getting piggy with his algae wafers. I've since named him Dudley, and I'm also worried because his coloring is off. Harry, the skinny, active yo-yo (who lives under the stairs) has vivid black markings and a shiny underbelly, while Dudley is dull and appears loafish while swimming.
Overfeeding seems to me to be the culprit, so I've cut back on their algae wafers (down to one a day instead of two), and added fresh veggies to their diet in the form of zucchini (which EVERYBODY loves). Take a look though; is there anything else I could for Dudley to get his weight down and be healthier? Just how overweight is he?
Thanks for advice/appraisals/opinions.
