Favorite Livebearer?

I have a pair of beautiful halfblack pastel guppies...and a tank of thier fry. They are the prettiest guppies I've ever seen ! (except for that nice metalic green cobratail I bought that didn't survive 2 days after I got it home because the cashier put him on the scanner....and then "I" fogot to lift him up over the scanner at the door !! :rolleyes: oO(DOH!)

The molly is my favorite, but for some reason I've had worse luck with them than with any other fish. I'd have them for a couple months, and then they'd just start dying off for no apparent reason. I've had better luck with Guppies and Platies. The Platies are really colorful and look nice when you get a few different colors.
 
I like my variatus platys. They went to town on the bba that had engulfed the tank. I have read and believe that they can survive on algae for months with little other food. I don't have the ammounts of algae these days to do that though.
