favorite part of fish keeping

Just wondering what is everyones favorite part of fish keeping? Mine is probably regular maintenance (not the most popular choice I bet) because it gives me satisfaction to know that i'm keeping their home nice and clean

haha...well if it isn't my old buddy roan! Ya I would agree except that only so many fish will fit in a tank. lol and I can't have any more tanks :sad:

I opted for setting up the tank, but for me that actually is planning/engineering and designing the tank.

it varies from tank to tank and time to time, but i voted for feeding

my favorite is watching the cichlid fry venturing out of their little haven for that chunk of flake.. sometimes almost as big as the little fishie

a close second is the planning/ conceptualization of a new tank (i'm starting to get the itch... held it off for two years this time)

I'm equally serious about feeding and tank maintenance, but I picked feeding b/c it wins out slightly on the enjoyment scale.
